Concert review : Calle Night club -Hilda Sawe

Write a description of one of the Finnish composers whose music is played in the concert.
I attended one concert on 3rd October 2014 in Calle Night Club in kokkola and there was a performance from Teflon Brothers. This is a finnish rap group which is made up of three men namely; the saint, Heikki Ball and Voli. They write their own music and produce it.

 Write a review of the concert. Eg. What did you like? Why? Who were playing? What kind of music? By what composers? 
The music was nice and we were singing along at some point. This was really the best moment i have had in a club in Kokkola since i came here considering that their music is so different from ours.The two albums i heard them performing are: the white dune riders and father's day. The Telfon Brothers mostly play rap music and also hiphop. I would definately want to meet them again!

KOKKOLAN ENERGIA- Company interview

- Present the company and sector where it is active.

Kokkolan Energia Company was started by Gustav 2 Adolf in 1620. The main Company and plant is in Kokkola but with many offices around the country. It is active in the energy sector and provides electricity to the whole Finland.

 - Why did you choose that company?

We chose this company because we are interested to know more about the energy sector in Finland.

- What are the main products/services the company offers to the market?

1. They produce and sell electricity to the whole country.
2. They produce and sell heat in Kokkola area.
3. They build and repair transformers.
4. They provide employment to the local people.

 - What are the main markets for the company?

Their main market is Finland as a whole and especially  kokkola area.

 - Add a picture and include references from where the picture is.

 

The first picture was taken in front of the Kokkolan Energie office. The second one was taken on the plant and site. Both were given to us by the company's Public Relations officer hence no reference.

- Self-reflection: Would you like to work in that field in the future?Yes.

  Why?  Because it employs very high technology in their production that we are interested in.

The most important sectors in Kokkola include the trade sector, service sector, the chemical industry, the metal industry and also the health and welfare services.

2. Are the most important sectors the same in Kokkola (Central Ostrobothnia) as in Finland?
The most important sectors in finland are the manufacturing sector in the trade industry, the electronics industry, metal industry, forestry industry and the chemicals industry. As seen, the sectors in Kokkola are almost the same as the ones in whole Finland hence Kokkola is like a small part representimg the country.

Boliden Kokkola zinc plant, Kokkola Industrial park,  Kokkolan Energie, Foxwear Oy, Danin Kelolattia Vikström Dan Tmi. 

4. Reflect on what company would you like to visit? Why?
I would like to visit Foxwear Oy to see the clothes are manufactured, their designs and how the company contributes to the overall economy of Finland.
